Bemberg was founded in the mid nineteen twenties, as a factory for the manufacture of artificial silk. The factory was located on the banks of Lake Orta in the Italian region of Piedmont.
A new era of yarns and fabrics was born with Bemberg, and thanks to the quality and originality of its yarns, Bemberg achieved fame and a distinctive image throughout the entire world.
Its yarns are used in numerous markets, with diverse processing techniques. Every day millions of people world-wide wear items of clothing ( underwear, outdoor clothes, swimwear and sportswear ) containing Bemberg yarn.
